My journey in the field of Computer Systems Servicing has been one of proactive growth, community building, and adaptation. It began in 2013 when I earned my National Certificate Level 2 (NC II), a foundational step that solidified my technical skills. Just a year later, in 2014, I pursued and successfully passed the assessment for Trainers Methodology, which qualified me to train and empower others with the same skills I had acquired.
A pivotal moment came in 2016 with the official deployment of the updated Computer Systems Servicing NC II program. Recognizing a lack of accessible assessment venues in our area, I took the initiative to organize a group of my peers. Together, we successfully petitioned for a local assessment center to be established. This effort was fruitful, and we proudly became the first batch to be assessed under this newly realized program, a testament to our collective determination.
However, I knew this was just the beginning. Driven by a desire to create more opportunities, I embarked on the journey of establishing our own training and assessment center. In 2019, we officially registered our center for Computer Systems Servicing NC II with TESDA. This milestone was soon tested by the global challenge of the COVID-19 pandemic. While many industries were crippled, our training program became a glimpse of hope, proving that through technology, we could continue to thrive and provide valuable skills.
Today, as we stand on the cusp of a new technological era, we see emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence not as a threat, but as a powerful ally. We are committed to integrating these advancements to better serve our community, hone our skills, and prepare for a future where technology and human expertise work hand in hand. My journey is still unfolding, driven by the same passion to learn, lead, and innovate.
